Naruto and its sequel arc, Naruto: Shippuden, gave Funko one of its longest-running anime lines: 174 figures in the GrailNest catalog spanning Team 7, the Akatsuki, the Sand Village, and a run of glow-in-the-dark and convention Chases that push a handful of Pops well past the hundred-dollar mark. This guide covers the original Naruto and Naruto: Shippuden series only (Boruto: Naruto Next Generations gets its own separate guide).

Here is every group worth knowing, from the standard Team 7 lineup to the Akatsuki cloaks to the Chalice and convention grails. Click any figure to open its page in the GrailNest catalog and check its current value.

Collector tip

Naruto Funko value is almost entirely about the finish, not the character. The same Kurama Mode Kurama sculpt (#97) exists as a plain GITD release, an EB Games GITD exclusive, and an Underground Toys GITD exclusive, and the three trade at very different prices. Always match the retailer sticker and box art to the exact catalog listing before you assume a figure is a grail.

🍥 The grails: the most valuable Naruto Pops

The single most valuable figure in the whole line is a Pierrot-exclusive Naruto Sage Mode. Kurama Mode Kurama's three GITD exclusives, an early Itachi Uchiha, and a Hot Topic pre-release Sasuke round out the top tier.

🔥 Team 7

Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi anchor the entire line and have been reissued more than any other characters, across dozens of jutsu, forms, and exclusives. Naruto alone has releases as a Genin, in Sage Mode, in Six Path form, and as the Nine-Tails.

📜 Sensei & Sannin

Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Orochimaru make up the Legendary Sannin, and Jiraiya in particular has one of the deepest exclusive runs in the set: NYCC, Fall Convention, Hot Topic, and Special Edition versions all exist alongside the standard release.

☁️ The Akatsuki

The rogue Akatsuki organization is the deepest well of value in the whole line. Itachi Uchiha alone has close to a dozen distinct Chalice, Special Edition, and Chase versions, and Kurama Mode Kurama's exclusives sit right behind him near the top of the grail list.

🏜️ The Sand Village

Gaara, Temari, and Kankuro represent the Hidden Sand, and Gaara has one of the more collectible convention runs in the set with an SDCC exclusive and a Hot Topic metallic.

🍃 Konoha 11 & friends

The rest of the Leaf Village genin round out the shelf, from Shikamaru and Ino to Rock Lee, Neji, and Might Guy. This is also where the deepest Chase pull of the whole line lives: Hinata's Twin Lion Fists Chase glows in the dark and clears $38.

Kakashi has the deepest single roster of exclusives outside Itachi: an Anbu Chase, an AAA Anime GITD Chase, and a Kakashi vs. Obito 2-pack that clears $100 on its own. Kurama also gets its own moment, with a Susano'o form and three separate Kurama Mode GITD exclusives (EB Games, Underground Toys, and standard) that all rank near the top of the grail list above.

Grail & exclusive alert

Naruto Funko reuses the same character and even the same Pop number across drastically different finishes. Itachi Uchiha #1849 alone exists as a Chalice, a Chalice Chase, a Chalice Pre-Release, a Chalice Pre-Release Chase, a Special Edition, an SE Chase, and two Little Things variants, each priced differently. Kurama Mode Kurama #97 has three separate GITD releases from three different retailers. Always confirm the retailer sticker, box art, and glow finish against the exact catalog listing before paying grail money.

What makes a Naruto Funko Pop valuable?

Across all 174 tracked figures, the same patterns show up again and again:

  • Glow-in-the-dark Chases. Kurama, Madara, Minato, Sasuke Rinnegan, and Naruto Six Path all have GITD Chase versions worth several times the standard.
  • Convention exclusives. SDCC, NYCC, and Fall Convention stickers on Gaara, Jiraiya, and Kaguya Otsutsuki carry a real premium.
  • Chalice and Special Edition drops. Itachi Uchiha's Chalice line is the deepest and most valuable exclusive run in the set.
  • Retailer-specific finishes. Hot Topic, GameStop, EB Games, and Underground Toys exclusives on the same sculpt can trade at wildly different prices, as Kurama Mode Kurama shows.
  • Rare pre-release Chases. The Hot Topic Pre-Release Sasuke and Pierrot Naruto Sage Mode are both limited-run pieces that now sit at the very top of the line.
